 What will happen if there is a regeneration interruption?

DPF regeneration requires 10-15 minutes of high-temperature combustion of particulate matter, and interruption can lead to insufficient exhaust temperature, causing particulate matter accumulation. Long term blockage can cause engine torque limitation and power reduction, but occasional interruption of the regenerative program can usually not harm the vehicle.


  Classification processing of fault lights

1. The yellow light is always on (slightly blocked)

Performance: Particle accumulation of 50% -60%

Self rescue: Drive at a constant speed of 80-100km/h for 20 minutes, turn off the air conditioning and maintain a stable speed (diesel car 2000-2500 rpm, gasoline car 3000 rpm)

2. Yellow light flashing (moderate blockage)

Performance: Flashing lights+reduced power, accumulation exceeding 70%

Self rescue: Select a flat ground and shift to N gear. The water temperature should be 65 (15 minutes of hot driving in winter). Press and hold the regeneration button for 3-5 seconds. When the exhaust temperature exceeds 200 , the engine should not be turned off throughout the entire process. After completion, some models need to be restarted and the lights should be turned off

3. Red light+malfunction light (severe danger)

Performance: Both lights are on, accumulation exceeds 90% or system failure occurs

Forbidden area: Immediately turn off the engine, check the exhaust pipe for black and gray (excessive ash content), and contact a trailer for repairs
