Through advanced filtration technology and high - quality materials, we ensure that our DPFs meet the most stringent environmental standards helping to improve air quality and protect the environment.
National VI emissions and DPF system
With the popularization of the National VI emission regulations, modern car after treatment systems are generally equipped with DPF (particulate filters). DPF, as a large filter element for filtering particulate matter, can effectively collect the black smoke and impurities generated by the engine, thereby significantly reducing the PM value of vehicle particulate matter emissions. However, as black smoke (carbon particles) accumulates in the particulate trap, the exhaust back pressure gradually increases, which in turn affects engine power. In order to restore the smoothness of the filter element, a process called regeneration is introduced, which burns off the collected black smoke through exhaust heating. After regeneration is completed, the filter element returns to unobstructed flow, ensuring that engine performance is not affected.
Next, we will explore under which circumstances the regeneration function needs to be performed.
>The function and regeneration process of DPF
① When the accumulated amount of carbon particles in the particle trap is within the range of 0g to 30g, the vehicle can be driven normally without any worries.
② once the accumulated amount of carbon particles reaches the range of 30g to 32g, although the vehicle can still be driven normally, the regeneration function will be automatically triggered at this time. At this time, some vehicles' instruments may light up the yellow regeneration indicator light to remind the driver to pay attention.

>Regeneration triggering conditions
③ When the accumulated amount of carbon particles is within the range of 32g to 36g, the vehicle can still be driven normally. At this time, the XTOOL Langren diesel equipment can be used for regeneration, or wait for automatic regeneration to trigger.
④ Once the accumulated amount of carbon particles reaches the range of 36g to 45g, the vehicle will enter an abnormal state, indicating that the carbon load has been overloaded. In this case, the XTOOL Langren diesel equipment can also be used for regeneration, or the regeneration function can be activated by pressing the local button.
⑤ If the cumulative amount of carbon particles exceeds 45g, it indicates a severe overload of carbon load, and the active regeneration function will be disabled at this time. To solve this problem, it may be necessary to replace the relevant accessories.
