Through advanced filtration technology and high - quality materials, we ensure that our DPFs meet the most stringent environmental standards helping to improve air quality and protect the environment.

DPF installation requirements

DPF is a key component in the after treatment system of diesel vehicles, mainly responsible for capturing and adsorbing carbonized particulate matter in the exhaust, effectively purifying up to 70% to 90% of particulate matter in diesel vehicle exhaust. At present, the installation requirements for DPF are not limited to specific regions, but with the improvement of emission standards, DPF has become a standard configuration for diesel vehicles. For example, in the Shenzhen area, it is stipulated that all newly sold National V diesel vehicles must be equipped with DPF 1. In addition, the National VI emission standard also covers the installation requirements of DPF to ensure cleaner exhaust emissions.

Subsidy policy

In some provinces and cities, there are corresponding subsidy policies for installing DPF. For example, Tianjin provides a subsidy of 50% of the actual price for vehicles equipped with DPF, up to a maximum of 15000 yuan. These subsidy policies aim to alleviate the economic burden on car owners and encourage more vehicles to install DPF.

Technical details and maintenance recommendations

Regeneration operation: The capacity of DPF is limited, and once it reaches the adsorption limit, regeneration operation is required. The regeneration process involves burning off adsorbed particles, otherwise it may cause blockage. Frequent regeneration operations will accelerate the aging and failure of DPF.

Oil selection: It is crucial to use high-quality diesel and engine oil. Poor quality oil can cause DPF failure or even damage. The sulfur content requirement for National VI diesel is relatively low (≤ 10ppm), while the sulfur content of ordinary diesel may exceed the standard by dozens of times. Using inferior oil products can cause DPF blockage.

Oil selection: National VI vehicles must use low ash engine oil (ash content ≤ 1.0%), while ordinary engine oil has an ash content as high as 1.5%~2.0%, which can cause DPF blockage. The key is to choose CK-4 grade low ash engine oil.

Urea usage: The urea concentration must be strictly controlled at 32.5% ± 0.7%. Poor quality urea can cause the SCR system to fail, thereby affecting the normal operation of the DPF.
