Through advanced filtration technology and high - quality materials, we ensure that our DPFs meet the most stringent environmental standards helping to improve air quality and protect the environment.

3Fuel Quality: The Key 'Stumbling Block'

The quality of oil products has a significant impact on the use of particle traps. In Europe, due to the low sulfur content in gasoline, countries such as Norway have high oil quality, which provides car companies with more technological options to meet emission requirements, and even eliminates particulate filters. However, in China, the sulfur content of oil products is relatively high, and the quality of oil products varies in some regions. Fuel with high sulfur content will produce more particulate matter after combustion, and the sulfur in it will react with the catalyst in the particulate trap, reducing the activity of the catalyst and making the particulate trap more prone to clogging. If we want to cancel the particle trap, we need to accelerate the upgrading of fuel products, make fuel combustion more complete, and reduce the generation of particulate matter. But upgrading oil products involves various issues such as refining technology improvement and infrastructure construction. The improvement of refining technology requires a significant investment in research and equipment updates; In terms of infrastructure construction, gas stations need to replace oil storage tanks, refueling equipment, etc. to adapt to the new oil standards. These are not comprehensive breakthroughs that can be achieved in the short term.

Although particle traps cannot be removed at present, car companies are actively taking measures to optimize their performance and reduce negative impacts. For example, Volkswagen uses in cylinder direct injection technology to increase the fuel injection pressure to 350 Pa, making gasoline combustion more complete and fundamentally reducing the regeneration frequency of particle traps; Change the position of the particle trap to be closer to the engine, and use the exhaust heat emitted by the engine to regenerate the particle trap, improving the regeneration efficiency; The regeneration program has also been optimized, allowing the vehicle to achieve regeneration at around 30 kilometers. BMW has added more intelligent algorithms to its engine management system, which adjust the engine's operating parameters in real-time based on the vehicle's driving conditions, exhaust emissions, and other factors to reduce the generation of particulate matter. At the same time, it optimizes the regeneration timing of the particulate trap to ensure its efficient operation. These optimization measures have to some extent alleviated the problems caused by particle traps and provided direction for further development of future technologies.
