Through advanced filtration technology and high - quality materials, we ensure that our DPFs meet the most stringent environmental standards helping to improve air quality and protect the environment.

Concept:

The ternary catalyst is assembled on the exhaust pipe. Its function is to convert the harmful gases emitted from the exhaust of the car into harmless carbon dioxide, water and nitrogen through oxidation and reduction. With a ternary catalyst, the exhaust emissions can meet the standard.

Working principle:

When the high-temperature automobile exhaust passes through the purification device, the purifier in the ternary catalyst will enhance the activity of CO, HC and NOx gases and promote a certain oxidation-reduction chemical reaction, in which CO oxidizes to colorless and non-toxic carbon dioxide gases at high temperature; HC compounds oxidize to water (H20) and carbon dioxide at high temperature; and NOx reduces nitrogen and oxygen. Three harmful gases become harmless gases, so that the car exhaust can be purified.

Material:

The carrier part of the ternary catalyst is a porous ceramic material installed in a special exhaust pipe. It is called a carrier because it does not participate in the catalytic reaction itself, but is covered with a layer of precious metals such as platinum, rhodium and palladium.

Prone problems:

The most common problem with ternary catalysis is that there is too much impurities, resulting in blockage. Once there is a failure, it will cause the car to accelerate weakly, emit black smoke, and often turn off.

Note:

Do not use leaded gasoline. Try to use the recommended gasoline for vehicles.

Develop good driving habits and don't rush to brake floor oil.

Do not pull out the high-voltage line for a long time to test the fire.

The cleaning ternary shall be carried out after cleaning the throttle gas, injector and combustion chamber. During the cleaning process, the idle speed should not be too high to avoid overheating of the ternary catalyst.

As long as the catalytic converter is used correctly, it generally does not need to be maintained, so don't disassemble it casually. If it needs to be replaced, it must match the engine.
