Through advanced filtration technology and high - quality materials, we ensure that our DPFs meet the most stringent environmental standards helping to improve air quality and protect the environment.
The biggest difference between National VI and National V vehicles is reflected in the engine after treatment. National VI's after treatment adds a DPF (which some National V vehicles also have) device. If it is not cleaned in time, its service life will be shortened, affecting the compliance of exhaust emissions, etc.

DPF particulate filter collects and processes particulate matter
DPF, also known as particulate filter, is made of porous wall flow ceramic material and coated with precious metal coating. It is divided into four parts: encapsulation, clamp, carrier, and liner. Its main function is to capture carbon smoke particles and other particulate matter in diesel exhaust. It feels like putting a mask on the exhaust pipe, filtering out impurities in the exhaust and making the PM content in the exhaust meet emission standards.
As a particulate filter, DPF collects a large amount of particulate matter over a long period of operation. If not cleaned in a timely manner, DPF may become clogged.

Why does DPF blockage occur and what hazards can it bring
Insufficient combustion of the engine and substandard quality of fuel and lubricating oil can easily produce a large amount of polymers. Salts containing lubricating oil or fuel additives will adhere to the DPF, and these substances will accumulate over time, leading to DPF blockage and affecting the normal use of the vehicle.
Generally speaking, when driving at low speeds, vehicles are the main cause of excessive particulate emissions from engine exhaust, leading to blockages. Compared to frequent high-speed drivers, vehicles transported in urban areas are more prone to DPF blockages. When DPF is clogged, there will usually be corresponding warning lights on the dashboard of the vehicle to indicate.
DPF blockage can affect the power and fuel consumption of the vehicle. Imagine if there is a large amount of dust attached to a mask, in order to ensure smooth breathing, we need to increase our breathing intensity. The same goes for DPF. When the impurities in DPF increase, it will further increase the exhaust back pressure of the vehicle, affecting the smooth exhaust of the engine, thereby affecting the power of the engine and causing a certain impact on fuel consumption.
