In modern truck technology, particulate matter filters, also known as DPF, have become standard equipment for many vehicle models. It is similar to the filter cotton in familiar vacuum cleaners, mainly responsible for capturing particulate matter such as soot and carbon powder in engine exhaust.
As cigarette ash and carbon powder accumulate in the DPF, the vehicle needs to perform regular DPF regeneration operations. This regeneration process can be passive regeneration during driving or active regeneration after parking. Its core is to completely burn the accumulated carbon powder through high temperature, convert it into carbon dioxide, and discharge it outside the car.
