Through advanced filtration technology and high - quality materials, we ensure that our DPFs meet the most stringent environmental standards helping to improve air quality and protect the environment.

DPF is an abbreviation for Diesel Particulate Filter in English, and its Chinese name is Particle Filter. It is a device specifically used in diesel vehicle after treatment to capture and adsorb carbide particles. It can effectively purify 70% to 90% of the particles in the exhaust. Based on this, some people believe that DPF is a miracle tool for reducing particulate matter, which can be installed on any car once and for all. However, is this miracle tool really that powerful? The answer is negative.

Because diesel vehicle particulate matter comes from incomplete combustion, in order to solve the problem of particulate matter, the combustion strategy of China IV V emissions is oxygen enriched complete combustion. The consequence of this is a significant reduction in particulate matter emissions, but an increase in nitrogen oxides. Therefore, China IV V often adopts SCR selective catalytic reduction as a post-treatment method.

Nevertheless, diesel vehicles still produce particulate matter under certain operating conditions, and DPF can play its role by adsorbing these particles to make the exhaust cleaner.

From the above introduction, we can see that the key to solving particulate matter emissions is the combustion strategy, rather than simply adding a DPF to China's third tier vehicles to solve the problem. Although the function of DPF is to adsorb these particulate matter, its capacity is limited. When it reaches a certain degree of blockage, regeneration is needed.
